Getting Started in Blackboard 1. Open your browser (Chrome, Safari, or Firefox) and go to northallegheny.blackboard.com

Note: using Internet Explorer is NOT recommended.

2. The login screen for North Allegheny’s Blackboard site will be displayed (see below). Login using your SAME username and password that you use to log in to any district computer.

3. The first screen you will see when you log in will show you all of your classes in the “My Classes” module. Click on the specific class that you want to access.

4. Use the “Course Menu” on the left to navigate through your class.

Go Mobile! Download the free “Blackboard Mobile Learn” app to use Blackboard from

any mobile device here, there, and everywhere.

Get Notifications! 1. Check your North Allegheny email at gmail.com 2. Look for a red square next to your name in Bb. 3. Allow notifications from the Mobile App.

Need Help? Visit the “Help” Tab in Blackboard for how-to videos and

a link to help.blackboard.com for students.

If you have any technical issues, as you typically do, contact your teacher and they will contact the help desk

on your behalf.

The Help option is available in the same location regardless of where you are in Blackboard.
