+Louisville CyberKnife

n  Our center utilizes the CyberKnife® 9.6 system, which treats patients with a procedure called stereotactic radiosurgery, a nonsurgical method of treating tumors with precisely focused high-dose radiation. 

n  CyberKnife treatment is complete in five or fewer procedures and does not require surgery or sedation.

n  Louisville CyberKnife is part of the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, home of the first nationally accredited radiation oncology program in Louisville.

n  Our doctors are board-certified in radiation oncology and have several areas of specialty, including head and neck cancers and prostate cancer.

n  Our CyberKnife nurse navigator provides clinical support and coordinates care for our patients and their families.

+James Brown Graham Cancer Center

n  The full three-year accreditation awarded to the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Brown Cancer Center is the highest level accreditation awarded by the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the American College of Radiology (ACR-ASTRO) joint committee.

n  The Brown Cancer Center is a partner of KentuckyOne Health, an integrated comprehensive health system with nearly 200 locations throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana.

n  Louisville CyberKnife is located on the Lower Level of the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, which is based in downtown Louisville in the University of Louisville’s Health Sciences Center.

+Medical Director: Shiao Woo, M.D., M.B.B.S., F.A.C.R.

n  Dr. Shiao Woo serves as professor and chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in treatment of brain tumors and pediatric radiation oncology.

n  Dr. Woo’s clinical and research interests include tumors of the blood, bone, nervous system and soft tissue in children and adults.

+Radiation Oncologist: Moataz El-Ghamry, M.D.

n  Dr. Moataz El-Ghamry serves as assistant professor of radiation oncology at the University of Louisville. He is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center and specializes in gynecologic oncology.

n  With several publications to his credit, Dr. El-Ghamry is a member of numerous organizations including the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Brachytherapy Society and the American College of Radiology, among others.

+Radiation Oncologist: Anthony E. Dragun, M.D.

n  Dr. Anthony Dragun serves as an associate professor, vice chair and residency program director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is board-certified in radiation oncology with a special interest in breast cancer care and the central nervous system.

n  Dr. Dragun is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Radiation Oncology and the American Brachytherapy Society.

n  Dr. Neal E. Dunlap serves as an instructor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Louisville. He is board-certified in radiation oncology with special interests in lung and head and neck cancers.

n  Dr. Dunlap is affiliated with a number of hospitals in the region including University of Louisville Hospital, Jewish Hospital, Norton Hospital, Baptist Hospital East, Floyd Memorial Hospital and Veterans Administration Medical Center.
