Weather A typical day in Chicago during September has day-time highs in the 70s/lower 80s. Lows are in the low- to mid-50s. Please remember to pack a sweater since temperatures in session rooms can vary. We suggest you bring comfortable walking shoes for your convention activities.

Payment Policy, Fees, and Confirmation Notice Registrations will be processed only when accompa-nied by full payment. If a check is returned by the bank for insufficient funds, full payment must include an additional $30 for bank processing charges and must be paid with a cashier’s check, money order, or credit card. If payment is not received by the National Office prior to the convention, you may pay the full amount onsite. If you do not receive registration con-firmation one week prior to the meeting, contact the AMSN National Office at 866-877-2676 or

[email protected]. Purchase orders are not accepted as payment. (All fees are in U.S. dollars.)

Cancellations and Substitutions Cancellations and substitutions must be requested in writing. We will be happy to refund your registration fee, less a $75 administration fee, if received prior to August 27, 2019. No refunds will be made after this date. AMSN membership dues are non-refundable. All other monies will be returned to the party who origi-nally issued payment. If you are unable to attend, a substitution may be made. If your substitute is not an AMSN member, additional fees may apply. In the event AMSN should find it necessary to cancel or postpone this convention or sessions for any rea-son including, but not limited to, registration respons-es, strikes, or acts of God, AMSN will not be liable for registrants’ expenses. In whatever manner the can-cellation/postponement is ultimately resolved, AMSN will act responsibly to protect members’ and regis-trants’ investment in the convention and association.

Opening Reception, Exhibit Hall, and Poster Presentations Join us Thursday evening, September 26, 2019, for the Opening Reception. Poster presentations will spotlight the efforts of col-leagues and medical-surgical units around the world.
