I . The Ad Lib Music Synthesizer Card (ALMSC) is an I I -voice music synthesizer for use with the IBM PC and compatibles. Based on FM technology, the Ad Lib Mu ic Synthesizer Card offers the samct music synthesizer found on many popular keyboards. One familiar with this technology will be amazed to hear such percu sive ounds as bass drum, tom-tom, cymbal and hi-hat. Thi i because the card is cleverly designed to combine the use of white noise generation with FM synthesis.

The Ad Lib Music Synthesizer Card package includes the Juke Box playback program with a rousing selection of original songs.

The Ad Lib Music Synthesizer Card is a half-size card that fits into any expansion slot on the PC Motherboard. On the back of the card is a volume control and an audio jack to which you can attach headphones , external peakers or even your home stereo system.

Also available is Visual Composer software (SP 10), a sequencer program designed specifically to assist you in composing songs with your Ad Lib Music Synthesizer Card.

2. The Roland MT-32 Sound Module is a 32-voice synthesizer for the IBM PC and compatibles. The MT-32 is designed to provide the capabilities demanded for high-end use. The MT-32 is actually eight individual synthesizers and a percussion sound module. The 32 partials accept up to 32-voice polyphony, which is divided among the MT-32 's eight separate synthesizer part . Each synth part operates on an individual MIDI channel (2-9) with the rhythm part preassigned to channel 10.

The rhythm section contains 30 different preset PCM drum and percussion sounds.

The synthesizer section has 128 preset sounds including acoustic and electric piano , organ, synth bass, synth brass, synth strings, guitar, bass, winds, and special effects.

Included with the MT-32 is the Roland MPU-IPC MIDI Processing Unit, which forms a truly intelligent interface between your MIDI instruments and your computer . This unit makes things easy for your computer. It organizes packets of MIDI data into complete MIDI events and actually masks redundant data, enabling your computer to process MIDI much more rapidly than it could if it had to manage these tasks.

The MPU-IPC has a single MIDI In and 2 MIDI Outs, Sync Out as well a jacks for Tape Sync In /Out.

Also included with thi package is Ease songmaker software, designed specifically to help you compose your own songs using the MT-32 .

3. The IBM PC Music Feature is an eight-voice music card for use with the IBM PC and compatible . This full-size music card u es the FM tone generat ion method and has 240 preset voices. It has the capability to store an additional 96 user-programmed voices.

This music card provides a MIDI port that allows you to connect devices that comply with MIDI Specification 1.0.

The IBM Music Feature can be ordered directly through your authorized IBM dealer.
