Georgia Innovations’ Week is the event which aims to stimulate the creation of innovations in the country and to support better collaboration between government, business and academic sector for commercialization of innovative products created in this sphere. GIW is the event which is organized quarterly by Innovation and Technology Agency of Georgia (GITA). The next event will be held on April 24-26 and will be more diversified and complex with the events planned during the week. The topics which will be covered vary from the importance of ICT for the economy to Android and iOS development. In this case, the event takes 3 days and each day has its name and topic. The event includes conferences, seminars, workshops, hackathons, exhibitions and small projects, which will be held under one roof during these days. Short agenda of the event is as follows: Day I - Business and Government Innovations: Governmental Session; Speaker Sessions - Collaboration Between Business, Academia and Government for R&D and Innovation; Start of Android, iOS and Web Hackathon. Day II IT Innovations: Speakers from Google; Georgian Speakers about Google Products (Android, Chrome, Google Apps etc.) ; Presentation of Google Glass; Presentation of Google Developers Group Tbilisi. Georgian Speakers about iOS Programming; Georgian Speakers about Web Programming; Day III Tech Innovations:

● Pitches of projects created on hackathon, Announcing Winners; ● Closing Ceremony;

These three days also include:

● Android, iOS and Web Hackathons; ● Business Marathon 20=200 Shop; ● Exhibition of Educational Programs; ● Promotion of the following projects which take place in Tbilisi;
