The tuning kit boosts the output of the twin-scroll turbocharger in a MINI Cooper S with manual transmission to an incredible 200 HP (147kW), with maximum torque of 250 Nm between 1,750 and 5,000 rpm. With the overboost function, 270 Nm can be achieved between 1,800 and 5,000 rpm for a short period – enough to take the MINI Cooper S from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, and on to a maximum speed of 234 km/h. The sports exhaust, is not just a visual highlight, it also gives a throatier engine note. A specially developed air fi lter system which improves power delivery completes the kit. The engine management software has been reconfi gured so as to squeeze every last drop of power out of your MINI, ensuring it delivers invigorating acceleration right across the rev range.

MINI Trackstar provides:• Protection against illegal movement of the vehicle, via its unique motion

sensor detector.• Full battery back-up, which ensures that your vehicle is protected in the

event of the battery being disconnected. The system automatically arms when the ignition is switched off.

This means if your vehicle is moved illegally, your in-vehicle unit will immediately alert the Control Centreand provide the exact location of the vehicle. You will then be contacted to confirm that your vehicle has been stolen. The Control Centre will then contact the Police and continually track your vehicle which will then be returned to you once recovered.

MINI Trackstar3.MINI Trackstar is a small covert electronic device installed in your vehicle which utilises state of the art technology such as GPS (Global Positioning Satellite), GSM (Global Systems for Mobile Communications) and an integrated motion detector in order to accurately locate your vehicle, should it be stolen.

Therefore, either when you report a theft or the Control Centre contact you to advise you of a possible illegal movement, the unit is activated and tracking will commence.

MINI Trackstar 53.The MINI Trackstar 5 unit operates in the same way as the MINI Trackstar unit but incorporates the added benefit of a Driver Authentication Device.

If the Driver Authentication Device is present the MINI Trackstar 5 unit can detect that the person driving the vehicle is authorised to do so, therefore in the event of a theft where the thief does not have the Driver Authentication Device, the Control Centre is alerted.

Reports have shown that an increasing trend amongst car thieves is to steal the vehicle’s keys. Thus without the Driver Authentication Device, the theft will be identified promptly and ultimately increase the likelihood of a successful recovery.
