With Bluetooth technology your phone connects wirelessly with the Hands-Free Communication System. Bluetooth supports hands-free audio and limited call handling functions. Since the phone is not connected in a cradle, battery charging and use of an external antenna are not possible. However you can keep your phone on your belt, in your purse… wherever it’s convenient.

In fact, as much as 20 percent of the navigation data the GPS satellites rely on changes every year. That is why Mercedes-Benz offers reliable, and updated navigation data to help get you where you need to go, effortlessly. The Navigation Map Updates are available for purchase from your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer.

COMAND Navigation System

The Mercedes-Benz Navigation System4 is a fully integrated system thatcombines Global Positioning System (GPS) technology with electronicmapping software to help you to plan trips, navigate detours and avoidgetting lost. The Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites continuously track your vehicle’s location, and rely on accessing the most up-to-date map-ping information in order to give you the most accurate and efficient routes.

The system can route you through more than 6.1 million miles of navigable roads in the United States and Canada. Just enter the address on the intelligent destination input screen, and the system takes over, guiding you audibly and with a clear and detailed 7'' LCD map display. Do you need an idea where to go? The Navigation System also offers 1.7 million Points of Interest in 40 categories including ATMs, restaurants, hotels, airports, museums and more.

4 Navigation system data includes the United States (excluding Alaska) and Canada. Directional assistance provided only when GPS coverage is available. Maps do not cover all areas nor all routes within an area. While the navigation system provides directional assistance, the driver must remain focused on safe driving behavior, including paying attention to traffic and street signs. Tele Aid

Making the connection in your vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid makes connecting easy with three buttons in your vehicle – the SOS, Wrench, and i-Buttons. Simply push the button you need and you will be put in contact with the appropriate Mercedes-Benz Response Personnel or service. The Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid system automatically transmits information about the vehicle and its location.

1 | SOS Button

Push the SOS Button to have us contact emergency services if you need help or see someone who does. Additionally, when an airbag or seatbelt Emergency Tensioning Device is deployed, the vehicle automatically notifies the Tele Aid Response Center.8 If voice contact cannot be established with you or ifyou request assistance, emergency services will be notified.

2 | i-Button

Push the i-Button to get information – about your vehicle’s sys-tems, for directions, or to access a range of traffic and destination services. With the Mercedes-Benz Concierge7 package, the i-Button also connects you to the Mercedes-Benz Concierge, who can assist you by recommending hotels, making reservations, even ordering gifts.

3 | Wrench Button

Push the Wrench Button for roadside assistance. If you get a flat tire, run out of gas, see a warning light on your dash or for help with other mechanical issues, service personnel can be dispatched to assist.9
