Turning Your TV On 1. Connect the TV to an electrical outlet using the power cable. 2. Press Power on the remote.
Turning Your TV OffWith your TV on, press Power on the remote.
Adjust Your TV VolumePress Volume + / - to adjust the TV volume up or down.Press Mute to turn the sound off. A blue logo displays when the Mute is on.Press Mute to turn the sound back on again.
Selecting a TV ChannelTo scroll up or down the list of channels on your TV, use the Channel + and – buttons.To enter a channel number, use the 0 to 9 buttons.To select a 1 digit channel number (such as channel 5): press the 5 button.To select a 2 digit channel number (such as 20): press the 2 button, then the 0 button.To select a 3 digit channel number (such as 103): press the 1 button, the 0 button, and then the 3 button.
Selecting Your Input SourceTo display a list of input source options, press the Input button on the remote control - input sources toggle in a small window. Choices include AV, S-Video, SCART, VGA, and HDMI.Keep pressing the Input button to scroll through the choices. Press LCD Menu to select and exit the menu.
BASIC OPERATIONS
NAVIGATING THE ON-SCREEN MENU
Press LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.
Press or to scroll across the list of sub-menus.
Press Enter to access controls for the selected sub-menu.
Press or to scroll the list of settings for the selected control.
Press Enter again to change the control settings.
Press LCD Menu to exit and save your settings.
Note: Commands in the on-screen menu may not match the button labels on your remote. This document shows remote button names in bold text along with the screen commands. LCD Menu [Exit] means that you should press the LCD Menu button to initiate the Exit function.
Use the remote control to navigate the on-screen menu. From here you will set up your TV’s programmable options and settings.

Press LCD MENU to display the on-screen menu.
Press or to scroll and select the Setup sub-menu.
Press or to select OSD Language.
Press or to scroll through language options.
When you are satisfied with your settings, press LSD Menu twice to select and exit.
SELECTING YOUR ON-SCREEN LANGUAGE
Press LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.
Press or to scroll and select the Video sub-menu.
Press or to scroll and select the sub-menu controls.
Press or to adjust the control settings.
When you are satisfied with your settings, pressLCD Menu twice to select and exit.
Color Temperature Sub-MenuPress or to select Cool, Standard, Warm, or User.
To adjust colors individually, press Select. Then press or to adjust Red, Green, or Blue gain values.
When you are satisfied with your settings, press LCD Menu twice to select and exit.
VIDEO MENU OPTIONS
Controls the color saturation of your TV image.
Controls the focus of your TV image.
Controls the difference between the darkest and the lightest areas of your
TV image.
Controls the relative lightness and darkest of your TV image.
You can use Preset Modes, or you can customize your own settings by choosing
the User Mode.Picture Mode

Controls visual “noise”that appears in video images.

Controls the warmness or coolness of the colors in your video image.

Press LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.
Press or to scroll and select the TV sub-menu.
Press Enter to access the sub-menu.
Press or to scroll and select the sub-menu controls.
Press or to adjust the control settings.
When you are satisfied with your settings, press LCD Menu twice to select and exit.
TV MENU OPTIONS
Turn surround sound on or off.
Adjust the level of the higher-pitched sounds.
Adjust the level of the lower-pitched sounds.
Adjust the balance between the right and left channels.Balance

Sound Surround
Allows the TV to automatically equalize the volume between high and low channels. Select on or off.
Auto Volume Control
Use equalizer presets to make treble and bass adjustments. Choose Standard, Speech, Music or Pop.

Select Antenna or Cable for your signal input mode.Tuner Mode

Press or to select a country, then press Enter to begin a scan for channels in the country you selected.

Highlight Digital Manual Scan, then press Enter. Press or to select RF Channel. Press Enter to begin. Status bars indicate signal level and signal
quality for channels detected during the scan.
Highlight Analog Manual Scan, then press Enter. Press or to select whether you want to scan channels up or down the frequency dial.
Highlight Channel Scan and press Enter. A progress bar shows the status of the scan. You can wait until the scan is complete or you can press LCD Menu to
stop the scan, the channels detected up to that point are saved.Update Scan

Program the TV to skip certain channels. Press or to select the channel you want to skip. Press Enter to select.

Shows a blue screen whenever there is no signal rather than snow or a black screen.
Set your time zone and on-screen timers.
Set the transparency value for your on-screen display. Select from Low, Middle, and High.
Set the amount of time between the moment you stop using the menu and the moment the menu disappears.

Set TV to power-off if no input is received from the user. Press or to set timer.

Return all screen settings to their factory default. Press or to select. Press Enter to reset.Reset Default
When set to ON, the TV timer will synch automatically. When set to OFF, use number keys to set date and time for synch to occur.
Audio Synch
Set the amount of time that will count down before the TV powers on automatically.
Use or to select a timer that will automatically power the TV on. Choose Once, Off, or On.

Choose Last Status to power the TV on to the last channel used. Choose User Select to select a specific channel number.
Set a timer on or off that will automatically power the TV off.
Use number keys to set the amount of time that will count down before the TV powers off automatically.

Select second choice language for subtitles.
Select first choice language for subtitles.
Off shows no subtitle. On shows subtitles with audio. Mute shows subtitles with no audio.

Select Normal or Hearing Impaired for your subtitles. Indicates small or larger text.

PARENTAL MENU OPTIONSPress LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.
Press or to scroll and select the Parental sub-menu.
To enter the Parental Menu controls, press LCD Enter. Then use the remote control number buttons to enter the password. The default password is 2020.
Note: You must select the Password field before you enter the password.

When on, TV volume is controlled by the OSD. When off, volume is

Press or to scroll and select TV input sources. Press Enter to display a lock icon next to the source. Signals from these input sources will be blocked.
Press LCD Menu to select.
Press or to select an age rating. Programs rated for children below the age selected here will be blocked. Press LCD Menu to select.
Press or to select a channel. Press Enter to display a lock icon next to the channel. These channels cannot be viewed on the TV.
