Genesis 46:1-47:12

Genesis 46:1 So Israel took his journey with all that he had and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices

to the God of his father Isaac.

 

Genesis 35:12 “The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and I will give the land to

your offspring after you.”

 

Genesis 46:2 And God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said,

“Jacob, Jacob.” And he said, “Here I am.” 3 Then he said, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for

there I will make you into a great nation. 4 I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph’s hand

shall close your eyes.”

 

Genesis 15:3 Then the LORD said to Abram, “Know for certain that

your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be

servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years.

14 But I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and

afterward they shall come out with great possessions.

 

Genesis 46:30 Israel said to Joseph, “Now let me die, since I have seen your face and know that you are

still alive.”

 

Luke 2:29 “Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace,

according to your word; 30  for my eyes have seen your

salvation”

 

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not

also with him graciously give us all things? … 38 For I am sure that

neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor

height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God

in Christ Jesus our Lord.
