FRONT COVERYou will always find the name of the magazine on the front cover.

On a front cover you will normally be able to read about what artists will be included in the magazine.

The main featured artist in the magazine may cover the name of the magazine and will feature on the front cover.Sometimes there will be a pull quote and the name of the artist to draw the audience in.

Magazines will also normally include a barcode where price and issue number and other sales information in one are to tidy up the layout of the front cover.

CONTENTS PAGEThe name will be included again to give the magazine identity.There will be a list of artist and what page they are included on the contents page.

There will be a list of the contents of the pages and the types of articles included and hints about them.

A subscription box may be used to get people to remember or commit to continuing to buy the magazine.

A image and mini-story may be used with a drop cap to get the reader to continue reading.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

All DPS’s will have a title to complement the article.

There is a dominant image placed on a DPS to complement the article.

The article will include drop caps to stand out and draw in the reader.

There will be a pull quote in the article to draw the reader in and will be bold and noticeable.

There will be an introduction into the background of the article to draw people in.

There will be an article about the artist.

The identity of the magazine is found by the name of the magazine on the front cover.

The main featured artist in the magazine may cover the name of the magazine and will be the dominant image on the front cover.

Magazines will include a barcode where price and issue number and other sales information in to clean up the layout of the front cover and keep a professional look.

On a front cover the artists included in the magazine can be found and what the articles are about.

The name and title will be included again to give the magazine a unique identity.There will be a list of the contents of the magazine and the artists included and a text about the article.

The identity is also put on the bottom with more q details.

Sub images are used to give more media to the page but isn’t as important as the dominant image.

There will be a dominant image advertising a page/article of the most popular artist involved in the magazine.
