There are two rules that govern this sport:

• The player's back toe cannot leave the ground until the heel of the front foot has touched. Violation of this rule is known as loss of contact.

• The player’s supporting leg must straighten from the point of contact with the ground and remain straightened until the body passes directly over it.

These rules are judged by the human eye. Players regularly lose contact for a few milliseconds per stride which can be caught on film, but such a short flight phase is said to be undetectable to the human eye. ID THE SPORT.

World Trade Center, 9/11. But the year was 1995. Excerpts of a report of an event taking place on the 107th floor of WTC read-

"In a soundproof glass cage a quarter of a mile above Wall Street, a couple of cavemen named X and Y spent the past month clubbing it out.“

Final score line of the match was 10.5-7.5 in favour of X.

8. PUT FUNDA

"In light of the slight to my name that has been perpetrated by your savage act, I am bound by the ancient Pashtunwali tribal code of my elders to avenge my honour," said a statement read out by a mysterious messenger who arrived outside X's hotel room on horseback at dawn, dressed in traditional Pashtun dress and headgear. "It may happen in a few days, a few months, or even years down the road, but I will take back my record," the statement continued, before adding ominously, "and if I cannot take my record, I will be forced to adopt more direct means of revenge."

Around the time of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, table tennis players had begun increasing the thickness of the fast sponge layer on their rackets, which made the game excessively fast and difficult to watch on television. The International Table Tennis Federation instituted several rules changes aimed at making table tennis more viable as a televised spectator sport. What major change did IITF bring about in the rules which effectively slowed down the game and made it better for television viewing?

The older 38 mm balls were officially replaced by 40 mm balls. This increased the ball's air resistance and effectively slowed down the game.

This term began appearing in fiction in the 1980s. But it was through the work of sci-fi author William Gibson that the word became prominently identified with online computer networks, beginning with the 1982 story “Burning Chrome” and popularized by his 1984 novel Neuromancer. Give me the TERM.

2. WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT ??

The initial 1963 versions were made from ultra-fine 3-D knit iron alloy, powered by flat linear armature DC motors, short-wave radio, collapsible roller skates. Most functions were controlled by miniature electronic switches mounted on the insides of various pieces. The modern version is almost unrecognizable when compared to that but it looks almost exactly the same.

Godwin's law is an Internet adage asserting that

"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving X approaches 1. That is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to X.”

In 2012, "Godwin's Law" became an entry in the third edition of the Oxford English Dictionary.

There are two of them. Each can withstand temperatures of 1100 degrees Celsius, water pressures at depths of 20,000 feet and shocks of 3400 Gees per 6.5 ms.

The one called the CVR is designed for all ambient noises, including conversation.

The other one, the FDR, is actually painted to provide a visual aid and can keep track of at least five and as many as hundreds of parameters.
