  • ITU EUR5: Entrepreneurship, innovation and youth Regional initiative resolved at WTDC 14 for the implementation in 2015 2018. Objective: To foster the creation of an enabling environment and build capacities at the regional level, aimed at growth of entrepreneurship and increased innovation in the ICT ecosystem, while encouraging empowerment of young men and women and creating new opportunities for them in the ICT sector. Strengthened cooperation with diverse stakeholders, including academia and the private sector will be necessary.

  • Athens ynergies - Innovation Hub The Athens Innovation Hub, project named "InnovAthens" is based in the Athens Technopolis, a cultural and entertainment center, in a highly symbolic point, besides the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora. It is a joint project between ynergies, the City of Athens and major Academic Institutions and is hosted in a transformed industrial building (see photo). Active from 2014

  • Corallia | Clusters Excellence! Management and development of Innovation Clusters, in specific sectors and regions of the country, aiming at boosting competitiveness, entrepreneurship and innovation, in knowledge-intensive and exports-oriented technology segments, where Greece has the capacity to build a sustainable innovation ecosystem. Has already developed and currently supports the growth of highly-specialised ICT clusters in Greece, in knowledge-intensive thematic sectors. Acts as a catalyst with the strategic aim to develop cohesive and productive innovative ecosystems within which actors operate in a coordinated manner, in specific sectors and regions of the country.

  • Corallia | Clusters gi-Cluster (gaming) A recently formed innovation cluster in Greece, which displays a state-of-the-art technology edge coupled with an extrovert, global-reaching entrepreneurial spirit. Has attracted a critical mass -including large businesses, SMEs and academic and research institutions-, yet the in- depth, national-wide sector mapping already performed indicates great potential for substantial development, based on the existent pool of talent and activities in this field. a Greek environment with the right framework conditions to allow sciences, innovation and entrepreneurship to flourish (again).
