Caspian Sea: 143,000 square miles in size . It is a salt water lake located in the general region between Russia and Northern Iran although other nations including Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan also claim some rights to the lake.

Lake Maracaibo:It is considerably smaller than the Caspian Sea at only 5,000 square miles but it is the largest lake in South America. (It is located in Venezuela.)

Lake Michigan and Lake Huron: Although most people consider these two Great Lakes of the United States to be separate lakes, they are actually a single, joined body of water. At over 45,00 square miles combined, they make up one of the largest single lakes in the world.

Lake Superior: This one is over 31,000 square miles in size. It is considered to be the largest of the Great Lakes by those people who count Lake Michigan and Lake Huron as two separate lakes since they are individually each smaller than Lake Superior. (Located in USA and Canada)

The Pacific Ocean is the largest of the Earth's oceans. It extends from the Arctic in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south, bounded by Asia and Australia in the west, and the Americas in the east.

The Atlantic Ocean is the second-largest of the world's oceanic divisions. With a total area of about 106,400,000 square kilometers (41,100,000 sq mi), it covers approximately 22% percent of the Earth's surface and about twenty-six percent of its water surface area. 

The Indian Ocean is the third largest of the world's oceans, covering approximately 20% of the water on the Earth's surface.

The animals that live in the desert usually have special adaptations that allow them to survive the hot temperatures that the desert present. Among the most beautiful mountains in the world, Mount Fuji is notable for its beautifully symmetrical shape. Situated in Japan it is the countries highest mountain with the height of 3,776 meters. It is also an active volcano with its last recorded eruption in the year 1707.
