The Anglesea Family Caravan Park is the perfect holiday destination to explore and create memories. Just off the Great Ocean Road and alongside the picturesque Anglesea River and surf beach, the town of Anglesea is a hive of activity with an adventure waiting for you around every corner.

The Anglesea Family Caravan Park is operated by the Great Ocean Road Coast Committee – a community based, not-for-profit organisation that manages 37km of Crown land between Torquay and Lorne, including the Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park, Anglesea Family Caravan Park and the Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park. By staying with us your camping fees are helping to care for our magnificent coast - thank you.

GENERAL INFORMATIONARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Sites are available from 12pm and accommodation is available from 2pm. Checkout time is 10am.

OFFICE HOURS Office hours are 8am- 5pm 7 days a week. During peak periods the office may remain open longer.

SPA & POOL COMPLEX The heated outdoor pool is open 8am – 7pm daily. The indoor spa is heated to 37 degrees and is available by pre-booking for a nominal fee during office hours. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian. Day visitors are not permitted to use the pool/ spa.

GAMES ROOM Open 8am – 7pm. Games take $1 coins.

INDOOR TODDLER PLAY ROOM Open daily from 8am – 5pm for children aged 5 and under.

PLAYGROUNDS There are two playgrounds located within the park.

MINI GOLF Open daily from 8am until dusk. Free hire with a $10 returnable deposit for putters and balls.

SPORTING EQUIPMENT & BOARD GAMES Available free with a $10 returnable deposit.

PEDAL GO CARTS Available from reception 9am - 4pm daily. Fees apply.

BOOK EXCHANGE Available from reception.

BBQs There are a number of free BBQs located throughout the park.

WIRELESS INTERNET Wireless internet is available - 200mb or 8 hours.

CAMP KITCHENS & TV ROOM Open daily from 8am – 10pm.

BATHROOMS We have a family/ disabled bathroom and an infant’s change room located at toilet blocks 4 and 6 (not open 1st May – 31st August). Water is a valuable resource - please use showers sensibly.

LAUNDRIES Coin operated washing machines and dryers are available from 8am – 7pm. Please report any faults to reception. Individual washing machines and temporary clothes lines are not permitted.

BOOM GATES Upon arrival and payment a pin number for the boom gate will be given to the site holder. Pin numbers will not be issued to any other person. Tailgating through boom gates is prohibited.

PRIVATE PROPERTY Management does not accept liability for loss or damage to any caravan, vehicle, tent or lost property in the park. Please make sure you secure all valuables.

CLEANLINESS Please ensure sites and cabins are clean and tidy on departure.

RECYCLING Please separate rubbish and recycling by placing all recyclables in yellow bins and all other general rubbish in the green bins. Please note that Anglesea is plastic bag free at all shops.

SECURITY Security personnel are on duty during peak times. On site managers are available on site after hours on 0427 948 635.

VISITORS Day visitors are welcome at the park, however they need to register at reception on arrival and must vacate the park by 10pm.

REFUNDS Refunds will not be issued if guests leave prior to their nominated departure date.

RULES AND REGULATIONS• A speed limit of 5kph (walking pace) must be observed at all

times by all vehicles, bikes, skateboards, and scooters etc.

• There is strictly no excessive noise, drunkenness, offensive language or offensive behaviour at any time. Park quiet time is 10pm to 7am.

• Vandalism of park equipment, facilities or guest property will not be tolerated.

• Adult supervision required for persons under age 18 in the park.

• Children and infants under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult whilst in the amenity block.

• A maximum of one caravan, one car, and 6 guests (excluding infants and no more than 4 adults) are permitted per site.

• All equipment and belongings, including caravan, tent and vehicles must be contained within site boundaries.

• Awnings, shade sails and garden furniture must be securely fastened when erected and not tied to trees. Trenching around tents and annexes is not permitted.

• Bikes and skatebaords are not permitted in the ‘bike free zone’, must remain on roadways, and are not to be ridden after dusk. Helmets must be worn. Management reserves the right to withhold bikes, skates/skateboards or scooters where the rider has infringed any part of this rule. Razor bikes, Green Machine pedal racer cars and motorised scooters are not permitted at manager’s discretion.

• All sporting activities are to be played on the recreational area, not on the campsites or road.

• Dogs are not permitted outside designated dog friendly area.

• Sleeping in any motor vehicle (with the exception of a properly equipped campervan) is not permitted.

• BBQs or heaters that require heat beads or any other type of outdoor heating are not permitted.

• Subletting your van or site is not permitted.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PROCEDURES• In case of emergency contact 000.

• All vans must have fire extinguishers, fire blanket and working smoke detector.

• A space of two metres between your neighbouring camp sites is required for CFA access and to avoid the spread of fire.

• All drawbars must face the nearest park road for CFA access.

• Open fires are not permitted at any time.

• Meet emergency services at the boom gate located outside reception and give way to emergency vehicles at all times.

• Please familiarise yourself with the park evacuation plan, which can be found throughout the park in all facilities.

• Assembly areas are marked on the park map. Please select an area to meet so that you can account for your friends/ family.

• Once in the assembly area do not return to your vehicle or camp until authorised to do so by emergency services staff.

• In case of emergency do not attempt to move your vehicle, caravan or tent.

• All guests must comply with any total fire ban restrictions.

• The park BBQs are electric and can be used, however portable gas BBQs and stoves are not permitted on days of total fire ban.

• On days of high risk please listen to ABC radio 774.
