To approve order approving an amendment to extend the term of the subcontractwith The University of Texas at Dallas to March 1, 2000 in connection with acollaborative research project ("Cost-Benefit Analysis of Juvenile JusticePrograms") funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention(OJJDP), authorizing the County Judge to sign said document, approving the useof $7,419.65 to fund the intern position until March 1, 2000, and authorizing anyremaining portion of the budget as of 3/1/2000 to be applied towards the DataBase Analyst's salary.

25. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving refunds to taxpayers, as listed, in amounts over$500.00 for erroneous or excessive tax payments.

To approve order the Elections Department to temporarily use vacant space at theNorth Dallas Government Center located at 10056 Marsh Lane for a period of 4to 6 months, at no cost to Dallas County, to scan voter registration applicationfiles.

To approve order authorizing the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID),Dallas Chapter, to perform a Volunteer Design project which includes renovatingthe lobby of the 2355 Stemmons Building, being responsible for all cost and workassociated with the project, and the Texas Department of Protective andRegulatory Services (TDPRS) being responsible for restoring the space back to itsoriginal condition at the end of the lease.
