The health system – including Geisinger Health Plan – launched a communications program to introduce the community to Geisinger’s unique story. The campaign will be seen in newspapers, radio, billboards and social media throughout Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. On Super Bowl Sunday, new television commercials debuted re- gionally introducing the new Geisinger slogan: “Caring: It’s such an old idea it almost seems brand new.” This theme will carry throughout the new brand identity. Over the next six to eight months, GHP will introduce the brand as well. Our logo has changed, but our commitment to provid- ing quality care and excellent service remains the same. We’ve updated our newsletter with a new design, but the content hasn’t changed. It’s still the same publication you’ve come to rely on for the latest news and important updates.

Geisinger Health System announced the launch of a new brand and campaign to build awareness of its commitment to kindness and compassion. The health system – including Geisinger Health Plan – launched a communications program to introduce the community to Geisinger’s unique story.

The campaign will be seen in newspapers, radio, billboards and social media throughout Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Explanation of benefits available online

Attention Secure Rx plan members:update on over-the-counter medicationsEffective April, 1 2016, there are changes to the way you purchase your over-the-counter (OTC) medication and supplies. You should have received a debit card in the mail with instructions for use. This card can be used like a regular credit or debit card for approved OTC items at a participating location. At the beginning of each calendar quarter (every three months), Geisinger Gold will apply a balance for you to use on approved OTC items.

Participating locations include Dollar General, Family Dollar, CVS/Pharmacy, Rite Aid, Walgreens* and Walmart. A list of eligible and non-eligible items will be included with your new card.

Please call the Customer Service Team at (800) 498-9731 (TTY: 711) if you have any questions or did not receive your card. For OTC card services, including checking your balance and finding a participating retailer call 1-888-682-2400, or go to www.myotccard.com.

*Please note, Walgreens is not a part of Geisinger Gold’s Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D) pharmacy network. Any prescriptions filled a Walgreen’s will not be covered by your benefits. Only OTC items are covered.

Geisinger Gold members who register as users of our website can take advantage of convenient online options. The Explanation of Benefits (EOB) document for medical services is now available online. This document includes information on all services you receive for easier reference.
