Before GD and T.O.P got together, GD he started his caraer with Taeyang, after they started to make auditions to form a band, then they got Daesung and Seungri, then finally T.O.P audition but he couldn’t sing so they trained him, then they put his position as a low rapper. In the year 2010 GD & T.O.P made a song called high high, it was a big hit, they also featured Taeyang , this video was all about partying and drinkin. X3

Before Big Bang was together, GD and Taeyang were the first to who receive training under YG – Entertainment at the age of eleven, They were child models first cast as the younger version of YG artist Jinusean in their music video “ A- Yo”, but later CEO Yang hyun - seok took notice in there music and dance, The duo released two tracks under the name GDYB, On February 8, 2007, Big Bang released their live concert album, The First / Real Live Concert, which sold 30,000 copies by the end of the year.

During the early days of their career, big Bang’s Music was predominately hip hop and hip pop, although they incorporated R&B into their album as well, In 2008, they recorded "Oh My Friend", a rock-based song, with the Korean rock-band No Brain. Members of the band have branched out to other styles for solo projects. Big Bang is often choreographed by Shaun Evaristo, "Blue" is defined as an "electronic ballad which starts off with soft piano and acoustic guitar that blends very well together".
