GC3: Working With Others In this production our task was to build the set for the production of “High School Musical”. Our group was responsible for the flats of the set, posters and flags and the interior (The corridor). Within our group we decided to delegate parts of the set that we was responsible for. I was responsible for the corridor section. My original thoughts were to have a vending machine and a trophy cabinet but many implications occurred. I talked to the set designer and we decided that a vending machine would be too expensive and pointless to rent. I could off made a trophy cabinet however a trophy cabinet and a vending machine would of looked to crowded on stage. So we ignored the vending machine but because “East High” has a rich basketball pedigree we decided to stick trophies on top of the Jocks lockers

GC3: Working With Others

In this production our task was to build the set for the production of “High School Musical”.

So we ignored the vending machine but because “East High” has a rich basketball pedigree we decided to stick trophies on top of the Jocks lockers to spoon feed the audience that the school has a rich sporting pedigree. This also fits in with the social context of the school because if we stuck them to the drama lockers it wouldn’t fit in with the social context.
