▪ Setting place
Keep the equipment more than 1.5m from lighting and 20cm from the back. Make wide space for opening left and right side of the equipment. ☞ It can cause damage while changing fluorescent lamp.
Set the equipment on a plat place and do not heat or push down the equipment.
The equipment needs proper tool for
transportation.
■ Checking after settle down.
☞ Check whether the electric lines are at correct locations.
☞ Check whether the wire ground is correct
☞ Check whether there is spare place near the instrument. This is for setting
and after service of the instrument.
☞ Check the water level in the water tank and connect the tank to where it
should be located.
☞ Please operate the instrument after checking all the necessary part for
safety.

Installation of the composition
2-1. Installing the GC-300 Water Tank
Following the bellow direction to install the water tank.
1. Setting the water tank prop on ②or ③ wherever you want with 6mm bolts.
2. Setting the water tank ① on where you want.
3. Connecting the water tank ① with the inlet ④ by using the silicon hose ⑤. (1.5M)
4. Pouring distilled water into the water tank ① and opening the valve.
(Using distilled water improves durability of the unit.)
5. Connecting two silicon hoses (0.5M) with part ⑥.
(On part ⑥, the right with a valve is a draining valve to drain water from the
inside of chamber. The left without a valve is a pipe for over flow.)

2-2. Installing of the GC-1000 upper light
Following the below direction to install the upper light.
(Must take off the main plug in safety.)
1. Ready for the upper light first as the image <1>.
2. Put the upper light up on the upper side of unit as the image <2>, set the light
with bolts (4X10) that be set on the unit.
(Use a ladder with at least two people in safety.)
3. On the image <3>, open the upper cover (A) and put the lighting line in through the
hole (B).
4. As the image <4>, connecting the lighting line with (L1+, L1-, L2+, L2-, L3+, L3-,
FAN+, FAN-) from the left one in order. (blue= +, black= - )
5. Close the upper cover and open the lighting part <1> then set three metal lamps up.

1. Accurate Temp. Control
▶ Perfect Temp. and heating control by PID Controlled Microprocessor Touch
Pad Type
2. Proper airflow for growing plants
▶ Air flowing from bottom to top by 2 fans (Top FAN(GC-300), bottom FAN(GC-
1000)
3. Controlling heat rising
▶ Minimizing heat rising by light and easy setting the condition of
illumination of day and night.
▶ Heat can be taken out through top part. (GC-1000)
4. Protect inner air from leaking out
▶ Outer part of chamber and door have been produced from Adiabatic material
and specially made silicon packing protects inner air from leaking out by
making close adherence between inner glass door and chamber.
5. Magnetic Packing
▶ Door with Magnetic Packing functions shock absorber and duplicate air
tightness.
6. Programming operation
▶ Ideal test condition by programming setting value by 10 grades for temp.
illumination, humid (GC-1000) . Repeatable test is possible till 999 Cycles.
7. Safety Circuit
▶ Over Temp. LED is on and power becomes off when the temp. is reached on Over
Temp. Limit.

▶ Chamber material is made of Stainless Steel (SUS 304) and outer body is made
of Steel Plate with coating for protecting from corrosion.
9. Glass door for observation inside the chamber
▶ Tempered glass helps the door safe and durable. User can observe inside the
chamber without temp. change by opening only outer door.
10. Making perfect environmental condition
▶ Designed for maintaining stable condition inside the chamber

Structure and feature of Lamp
1. Metal Halide Lamp
① Consuming power : 400W(per 1EA)

③ Small heat loading capacity does
not affect samples. The instrument
is easy to be installed with small

2. Fluorescent lamp
① High-grade light efficiency with
using economic-type electronic

switch. - Illumination capacity can
be controlled step by step.
3. How to replace ramps.
① Open the top part by keeping the
handle.
② The lamp is very hot. Please wait
at least 10 min. after power-off.
③ When replacing fluorescent lamps,
turn it to clockwise rotation about
90°, and pull it to take off from
the socket.
④ Be careful when you replace the
lamps.
☞ High temp. “Burns" (Over 100℃)
Be careful when you replace the lamps. You can be
dead or have serious damage.

you want to start with Program mode.

This is how to operate the instrument by inputting fixed temp.
humid. Illumination, CO2 , and time as below.
ex) Temp.: 30.0℃, CO2: 600ppm, H: 60.5%, Time: 1hr

4. Operating Program Mode
4-1. Inputting set values in Program Mode
The mode is changed to Program Mode with beep sounds by putting
PROG/MANU button for 5 sec.
☞ Set values of program mode can be inputted while operation and
stop of the instrument.
(Referring to 4-4 parameter input)

Maximum STEP nos. of the instrument is 10 ea.
If time is inputted as 00:00 at STEP 10, the steps before STEP 10 are inputted.
☞ Total 9 steps are inputted if time is inputted as 00:00 at STEP 10

Put MODE button after inputting “STEP"
The screen shows as below in case of inputting “STEP" value while operation
<Run Cycle No> Input Step repeating times.
Maximum: 999 times. Input “000" to repeat
infinitely.
<Lamp On Delay>
Lamp is on or off as indicated at the term
between steps. The unit is sec.
(**:This is for protecting plant growth from fast
change of illumination)
The screen shows as below when inputting STEP value after stopping operation.
<Pgm-On Delay>
This is shown when setting program on “Controller
Stop" condition.
The instrument works after the set time(Min.)

4-5. Performing Program Mode
1. In case of inputting “STEP" value while operation
1. Put “MODE" button after finishing each control item.
2. “Program mode" starts if you put “START" button.

The instrument works automatically after the set time(min.) for
“Pgm-On Delay"if you put “MODE" button after inputting each
control item.

1. How to use GC-300 Water Tank
Fill water into the water tank following to the
orders as below.
1. Take out the Water Tank from the supporter.
2. Open the cover and fill water into the
Water Tank.
3. Keep the water tank back to the supporter.
