BRISBANE

Brisbane is the bustling capital of Queensland, with the Brisbane River flowing through the centre and lots of attractions. A beautiful city with plenty of sightseeing and a match against a local club. GOLD COAST – Southport

40 kilometres of golden beaches with the waves pounding in from the Pacific, great restaurants and bars, plus a match against a local team. The Meriton Apartments Southport are centrally positioned at the northern point of the Gold Coast and only a stone’s throw away from Australia Fair Shopping Centre. Overlooking Marina Mirage, Southport is positioned at the outflow of the Nerang River and the Southport shoreline covers nearly three kilometres of parks, walkways and leafy suburbs. The apartments are situated close to the Southport station of the new light rail system that runs the length of the Gold Coast with easy access to Surfers Paradise and the fabulous beaches.

The Meriton Apartments have 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. The prices are based on 2-bedroom apartments but we may have to use 1-bedroom or 3-bedroom apartments and the price may vary depending upon the final numbers on the tour and how we fit everyone in. Meriton Apartments work on a fluid pricing system and so late changes to apartments or late additions may mean changes to the price. A Strict No Party, No Excessive Noise policy is in place at the Meriton Apartments. The Apartments are non-smoking. SYDNEY – Manly The 4-Star Novotel Manly Pacific is nestled perfectly to enjoy the very best of the Australian lifestyle. The hotel is located directly opposite Manly Beach and only 15 minutes from central Sydney by Jetcat and 30 minutes by leisurely ferry. The hotel features 214 rooms, Zali’s restaurant, rooftop swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and spa. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all of Manly’s bars, restaurants and attractions. We are planning on two Masters Matches whilst we are in Sydney. The Manly Ferry goes directly to Circular Quays, with the Opera House on the left and the Sydney Harbour Bridge on your right on the approach. The Rocks and Darling Harbour are within easy walking distance. On the Sunday we will travel by Ferry up the Paramatta River to the ANZ Stadium for the NRL Grand Final.

TOUR PRICE = £2600.00 to £2700.00 per person. We have given this price range because there are a number of imponderables - the final price will depend upon numbers travelling and, because many of the hotels and apartments in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast work on a fluid pricing system, the price that we are able to achieve when we are in a position to pay deposits. The price is also based on four or 6 people sharing a 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom apartment, for instance on the Gold Coast and two people sharing twin or double rooms at the Novotel Manly Pacific. Fewer numbers in any of the apartments / rooms will affect the price. We will not know the price of the NRL Grand Final ticket until a couple of months before the event. The price includes:- Economy International Flights with Singapore Airlines, from Manchester

to Brisbane and Sydney to Manchester including flight taxes; Flight from Brisbane to Sydney with Virgin Atlantic including flight taxes; 3 Nights in Brisbane – accommodation to be confirmed but hopefully in

the centre of Brisbane; 5 nights at the Meriton Self-catering apartments, Southport, Gold Coast; 6 nights at the Novotel Manly Pacific, Manly, Sydney including full buffet

breakfast; Return transfer from Brisbane Airport to accommodation in Brisbane; Transfer from Brisbane to Gold Coast and from Gold Coast to Brisbane

Deposits— A non-refundable deposit of £260.00 per person will secure your booking, plus, if you choose to take the Travel Insurance on offer, your insurance premium which will cover you in the event of cancellation. The final non-refundable balance payment to be received no later than 10th July 2015. We need your deposits by the end of November 2014 in order to secure the flights and accommodation. Numbers—the tour is based on a minimum of 25 persons travelling and we have a maximum of 40 places. NRL ticket. The above price includes our best guess at the cost of a ticket for the NRL Grand Final. However, ticket prices will not be available until a couple of months before the match and therefore there may be an adjustment to the above prices. We are planning to be on the half-way line as for this year’s Baht ‘Ats tour.

Exchange Rate The tour prices are calculated on an Exchange Rate of AUS$1.0 to £0.65. We reserve the right to pass on any increases in costs of the Australian part of the tour—tickets, hotels, coaches, airport taxes etc—due to an increase in the value of the Australian Dollar with regards to the Pound. However, we will absorb the first 2% of any such increase. Flight taxes and duties are subject to increase by government action and foreign currency exchange fluctuations. Again we reserve the right to pass on any increases. Travel Insurance We insist that every person travelling on our tours has fully comprehensive insurance. This is a condition of booking. You may purchase your own insurance, but we will require sight of your policy and it must include cover for rugby injuries. We provide fully comprehensive insurance as follows: Adult Playing = £72.00 Adult Non-playing = £42.00. Child price, 2-17 years = £21.00. Infant under 2 years—free.
