The GRAND Gathering is a joint venture of Quartzsite’s oldest and youngest non-profit organizations. The Quartzsite Improvement Association (QIA) brings a long history of community service and support, dedicated to the betterment of the Quartzsite Community. It was incorporated in 1965.
Proud Neighbors of Quartzsite (PNQ) provides benefits to local charities and non-profit groups by promoting the community of Quartzsite, and the surrounding area, through quality local celebrations!
Together, these organizations, with the support of Quartzsite Town Council, bring local knowledge, event planning expertise and volunteers necessary to create a successful event.
The four-day event will include activities at the QIA Community Center, located off I-10, Quartzsite Senior Center on Moon Mountain, the Town Park on Plymouth Ave., Desert Gardens RV Park and all around town. Planned activities include: Entertainment by Quartzsite’s own Boogie Woogie Blues Paul Winer, New Christie Minstrels, National Touring Artist Harry Luge, and Rex Allen Jr. There will be Pancake Breakfasts, Dancing, Grand Bingo, Antique Car Show, Senior Fair, American Veteran Travelling Tribute Memorial Wall, Town-Wide Yard Sales, Live Concerts, “Jam”boree, Rock Art Auction, Book Sale, RV Displays, 5K Walk, Delicious Food & Beverages and more!
