PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS
Over 240 people attended Gather to Grow family events in Trafford and Tameside organised by Groundwork MSSTT. With the support of local groups and organisations the event provided an opportunity for learning, sharing and networking for people of all ages from across the borough and inspired participants to get growing
15 workshops held at each event
94% thought the Trafford event was “excellent” overall; 100% were “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with the Tameside event
90% of people felt the events were an “excellent” opportunity to network with like-minded community groups

OUR ROLE
Organising the events
Securing partner involvement, including delivery of workshops and supporting the smooth running of the event
Organising and delivering interactive and family friendly workshops e.g. seed sowing, perfect potatoes, creating a patch from scratch, tool maintenance
Promoting and marketing the event to the community
Facilitating “Trafford / Tameside Growing, How’s It Going?” future planning sessions
