On the morning of Feb. 20, forced outages from gas issues totaled 7,420 MW, or 29.9 percent of total forced outages. In comparison, at the Jan. 7, 2014, peak, 9,300 MW of gas-
fired capacity was out of service because of natural gas unavailability, or about 25 percent of the total outages.”
