Emphasis is on the use and protection of our natural resources and public lands. However, research

is mainly focused in three particular areas, natural resource management issues (conflicts,

recreational impacts, implementation of user fees, etc), outdoor recreation (activities, participation

levels and trends), and socio-demographic trends as they relate to natural resource issues.
