Career Exploration and Development

SUMMARY

This update was generated based on voluntary responses from recent graduates representing the 2014-15 academic year. Career Development, Experiential Education and Employment Services solicited graduates directly by mail, by email, by phone, and partnered with faculty to gather post-graduate information. In order to further increase the knowledge rate associated with graduate outcomes, LinkedIn.com was leveraged in an attempt to identify the statuses of any remaining graduates. This annual practice of collecting outcomes begins in July and concludes after the winter break. After a period of several months, a snapshot of post-graduate outcomes was established as a result of these noted efforts. From a roster of 604 graduates, 83% (499) shared information. Within the scope of those who responded, over 91% of graduates are either employed in substantive roles or are continuing their education.
