Day 1Arrive Dublin Airport - Belfast City

Visit the Titanic Belfast

Explore the shipyard, walk the decks, travel to the depths of the ocean and uncover the true legend of titanic in the City where it all began.

Coach Tour of Belfast and its industrial and political history.

Visit and sign the Peace Line Wall. Walk along this Wall which divides the communities of east Belfast.

Enjoy the beautifully restored Victorian architecture, the glittering waterfront, lined with modern art. This fantastic gastronomy City and music-filled pubs.

Travel the Antrim Coast Road to the impressive Giants Causeway – formed by the legendary giant – Finn McCool!

Travel to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

First erected in 1755 by Salmon Fishermen to connect to the Island of Carrick, this rope bridge is suspended and sways almost 30m above sea level. If you have the courage to undertake this 20 metre journey you will be thrilled and mesmerized with the coastal views (Daily Time Tickets Required).

Travel on to Derry (Doire, London Derry) a artistic and cultural hub City with its 400 year old walls. Learn of the Bogside, The Peoples Gallery (Murals) and The Bloody Sunday Story.

Overnight in Derry (Doire, London Derry)

Travel to Fanad Lighthouse on Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way,

Learn about the light and aids to navigation past and present. Step back in time and hear stories about light-keepers in days gone by and climb to the top of the tower for spectacular views of land and sea.

Travel to Sligo.

Stopping in the town of Letterkenny on the River Swilly en-route, its main street is said to be the longest in Ireland. View St Eunan and St Columba Cathedrals, the county Museum once a 19th century workhouse. Visit the Newmills Corn and Flax Mills a reminder of the areas industrial development. Experience seeing in action, one of the largest waterwheels in Ireland, driving the machinery of the corn mill.

Arrive in Sligo.

Evening free to enjoy this unique destination with its dramatic backdrop of Benbulben. Sligo’s cultural and literary heritage is world famous and still actively celebrated. It has a signposted walking trail with an accompanying booklet to help you trace the history of the town in only 90 minutes!

Day 4Donegal

The famous childhood home of Constance (Gore-Booth) Markievicz, one of the leaders of the 1916 Rising, first woman elected to Dail Eireann and the House of Commons.

WB Yeats, Poet (Nobel Prize in Literature) was friendly with the Gore-Booth sisters and stayed in Lassadell during 1892-93. He immortalised both the sisters and the house in his poetry. In ‘In Memory of Eva Gore-Booth and Con Markievicz’ Yeats describes

‘The light of evening, Lissadell, Great windows open to the south,Two girls in silk kimonos, bothBeautiful, one a gazelle’

Travel to the Grave of WB Yeats at Drumcliffe Church.

Yeats while he died in France, he chose this peaceful churchyard as his final resting place, with its stunning location at the foot of Benbulben

Mountain. The epitaph he wrote for himself is engraved on this tomb – ‘Under Ben Bulben’
