VARIABLESVARIABLES( PEMBOLEHUBAH)( PEMBOLEHUBAH)

1. Manipulated Variables (MV) = what to change (WtC) ( Things to changed / different)

- During the experiment; materials/ factors that we control or change to get different result.

2. Responding variables (RV) = What to observed / measure(WtO/M) (Thing to measure / observed / results )

- After the exeperiment : The products of the exeperiment

3. Control Variables(CV) = What that thing keep the same(WS) (Thing that keep the same)

- Material / factors that remain the same throughout the experiment.

* INFORMATION ( MV/WtC, RV/WtO/M, CV/CONSTANT/KEEP THE SAME)

Steps :

1. List out the material / appratus

2. Set the parameter that you are going use.

3. For responding variables, what are you going to observed.

Parameter

Length, size, type, numbers, weight, mass, volume, amount, height, thickness, quantity .etc.

AIM / PURPOSE OF INVESTIGATION(TUJUAN EKSPERIMEN)

FORMULA :To study/ investigate/ find out / show the relationship between mv / wtc and rv / wto

STEPS:STEPS:1.1.Find out the manipulated variable / what to Find out the manipulated variable / what to change and the responding variable / what to change and the responding variable / what to obseved / measured.obseved / measured.2.2.Replace the Replace the mv / wtc mv / wtc and and rv/ wto/mrv/ wto/m3.3.Answer using the formula that is givenAnswer using the formula that is given

HYPOTHESIS / RELATIONSHIP / CONCLUSION ( HIPOTESIS / HUBUNGAN / KESIMPULAN )

FORMULA :1. The more / less……………………mv / wtc The more / less ………………….. rv / Wto/m

2. When…………………………….. mv / wtc……………(+ /- )

So …………………………………rv / wto/m……………(+ /- )

3.Explanation based on result of experiment + comparision (without trend) STEPS:STEPS:1.1. Find out the mv/wtc and rv/wto/mFind out the mv/wtc and rv/wto/m2.2. See the trend.See the trend.3.3. Write the answer using the formula given.Write the answer using the formula given.

PREDICT

(RAMALAN)

-If the question have data , the answer should be in the number.-If the question doesn’t have data, the answer should be comparing.

STEP:1.Count the pattern that is given2.Use minus, plus, times, divide to find out the answer.3.Don’t forget to write down the standard unit.

OBSERVATION

(PEMERHATIAN)

-To observed the experiment using our five senses

eyes – to seeears – to hearnose – smelltongue – tasteskin - touch

STEP:1.Can use the word rv/wto/m2.Choose the maximum or the minimum number.3.Making the comparison.

INFERENCES

(PEMERHATIAN)

- Reason why the result/ observation / things that happened

STEP:1.Choose and state the reason why the thing happened2.Write observation in your inferences

ANSWERS : Q1

1a) i- The snail in beaker Y dies because it does not get foodii- The snail in beaker X still alive because it supplied with food, air and water.

b) i- types of animal / presence of water and air ii- presence of food iii-condition of snail after 3 days.

c) - Snail / Animals need food to stay alive. - Without food the snail / animal will die. - When the presence of food (Wtc) is supplied, so the condition of snail after 3 day(WtO/M) still alive.

ANSWERS : Q3

3a) Beaker Q

b) - Object made of iron can rust. - When the types of object(WtC) made of iron, so the condition of object(WtO/M) after a week will be rust.

c) i- The needles do not rust after six day because it do not come into contact with water and air. ii – 1-Painting 2-Coating with oil

ANSWERS : Q4

4a) decreased b) i- the height / size / types of coconut tree ii- length of shadow

c) 1.2metre
