General Overview Privates Fares are loaded in the Galileo 360 Fares data base by the Airlines themselves (Airline Private Fares) or by the Travel Agencies (Agency Private Fares) with the APF application. Airlines and Agencies have now the possibility to store Net Ticketing information in 35 of the Fare Note (such fares are called: Cat. 35 fares).

This allows the Travel Agent to perform ticketing for that kind of Fares with minimal or no manual intervention. All necessary Net Ticketing Data is now incorporated in the Fare Quotation enabling automated ticketing.

What kinds of Fares are concerned?

Airline Private/net fares loaded via APTCO with category 35 data

All Agency Private Fares loaded via the APF application with category 35 data

This has different impacts:

Fare Display identifying if the Travel Agency has the requested Pseudo City Code (PCC) authority for selling and/or ticketing.

Full validation of authorised Selling/Ticketing Agency as filed in Cat. 35 at Fare Quote time.

The Ticketing Data of Cat. 35 fares are automatically incorporated in Fare Quotations to enable automated ticketing including Net Remit, and IT/BT data.

New Net Ticket Data details and summary field in a Filed Fare, containing Net Ticketing Data.

Manual entries will not be authorised when quoting and storing a Cat. 35 that has associated ticketing data.

Different types of passengers may not be included in the same Filed Fare (see page 10)

Fare Build updates restrictions.

Travel Agencies using the Agency Private Fares application for Fare loading must refer to the Galileo Product Advisory 500 & 512 for contracts updates.

Fare Display Galileo 360 Fares includes indicators in the Fare Display, to identify fares that the user can sell and/or ticket. These indicators appear after the line number of each applicable fare.

Ticketing Authority (TA) This will ensure that Sell and Ticket authority as filed in Cat. 35 will be fully validated by Galileo 360 Fares.

This means that only the Agencies with explicit Ticketing authority filed in Cat. 35 will be able to ticket fares and view ticket fares details.

Any Agency with Selling authority but without explicit Ticketing authority as filed in Cat. 35 must reference a valid Ticketing agency when making a fare request. For that purpose a new Ticketing Agent modifier has been created: TA

Note: When using either of the fare build modifiers - Fare Basis (FBUFB) or Fare Calculation (FBUFC), these will completely unlock all of the automated Category 35 filed fare data. As a result any FBU add/change will be allowed such as baggage, taxes including PFCs, NVB/NVA, Baggage, etc.

The filed fare will now have a non guaranteed status of B and the Net Ticket Displays and data are removed. Any ticketing data that was filed in Category 35 will have to be entered manually using TMU entries. This could include removal of; Tour Code (TC), Value Code (VC), Carrier Agreement Reference (CAR) Code, commission, Tour (IT) /Bulk (BT) information and baggage allowance.
