UMC PROBLEMS IN ASUE
Private sector doesn’t present demand yet for high level professionals with research skills.
The reason isThe small part of so called “new economy” or
knowledge-based economy in ArmeniaTherefore low level of innovations, competitiveness
in internal market and low export potential
![Page 9: Gagik Vardanyan Doctor of Sciences, Professor Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations of ASUE.](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022072114/56649e2c5503460f94b1ae21/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
CONCLUSIONGeneraly, ASUE’s Phd alumni hasn't difficulties in labour
market:
all of them during study in MBA, they work in private
companies or government bodies
Some of them enter the labour market by ASUE
recommendation and support
But it is not so enough for to day and not enough for
“tomorrow”
ASUE can do much better in supporting their doctoral
candidates when they enter the labour market.
Career prospects are no reason for alarm, but we have to
find out what the labour market position in future
