Established linkage with Department of Trade and
Industry (DTI) XII thru dissemination of information to
micro-entrepreneurs, particularly women sector, to raise
their awareness and assist them on environmental
permitting/clearance requirements especially in relation
to Environmental Impact Assessment. Likewise, DENR-
EMB XII encouraged the participation of women micro-
entrepreneurs in government programs geared towards
Women Economic Empowerment.

Conducted Gender Analysis (Pre- and Post-tests
examinations) during the PEIS Lecture to Pollution
Control Officers Basic Course on May 29-30, 2014
Revealed that female pax obtained a mean score
of 4.58 while male pax registered 4.09 (a total
of 86 pax were given pre-test with 53 males and
33 females)
The computed t-values are 1.24 and .04 with p-values .22 and
.97 respectively are greater than .05 level of significance, hence
indicating not significant, this means that there is no
significant difference in the pre- and post-tests between male
and female pax. They have displayed equal performance.

The computed t-value which is 25.29 with a p-value of .000 is
less than .05 level of significance, which indicates significant,
this means that the difference between the pre-test and post-
test scores on individual questions showed a significant
positive increase.
