GOSPEL REFLECTION In Luke’s story, Mary, a simple village girl, receives a revelation from a messenger of God that invites her to be a mother. CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

“I bring you news of great joy, a joy to be shared by the whole people. Today in the town of David a saviour has been born to you, he is Christ the

Lord.”

Christmas is a feast of the heart. Christmas causes us to open our hearts, and to open our heart is to

begin to live.

When we open our hearts to God and to one another, we will experience something of ‘great joy’

the angels announced to the shepherds.

Joy is the fruit of love. Joy is an overflowing heart. May the great joy and peace of Christmas

be ours today.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you for your kind and generous support of

our parish throughout 2015
