A G4S CPO is one of the most qualified professionals

in the security industry A person with training and

expertise to diffuse potentially volatile situations, answer

dangerous threats with action or simply point visitors in the

right direction. The CPO can be a vital part of your agency

with CPR/AED/First Aid certifications adding value and

safety to your security programs.

One Out of Ten The G4S CPO officer is recruited from a unique and highly

specialized talent pool. Our CPO personnel candidates

must have specific qualifications, screening and training

for government agencies.

Qualifications All G4S CPO personnel have military, law enforcement

backgrounds or hold a college degree in the criminal

justice field.

Screening and Training CPO candidates have a wealth

of experience. Still, G4S requires

applicants to go through

psychological, background and

criminal screening. Every G4S

security officer participates in a

training program that far exceeds

industry standards, becoming a

specialist trained to both

recognize and react to unique

hazards of an assigned post. A

CPO is trained to watch for subtle

actions that another guard might

miss. Specialized G4S security

personnel may receive additional

training for specific assignments.

All G4S CPO personnel are

subjected to a stringent G4S

background investigation and

psychological assessment. All

CPO personnel must also

complete a mandatory 40­hour

basic training program.
