Purpose

Installation Order Indication
Click “Next” or “Install” according to following order

3. Connect UVIM with your Laptop
4. Manual update of UVIM Driver
- Go to “Control panel > System > Device Manager > Port
- Click Jastec Virtual COM Port > Driver > Driver Update
- Option 1 : Update with program CD
- Option 2 : Click update file manually
* G2 Scan program folder hold the UVIM Driver when you installed
* Address : C:\Program Files\G2Scan

Installation Order Indication
Your laptop detecting UVIM driver without manually.
However if your laptop fail to install the UVIM driver,
you can manually update driver.
refer to installation order 4
- C:\Program Files\G2Scan
Click “Next” or “Install” according to following order
until the end of Installation
Check the Window system device port like as below

1. Click G2 Scan icon then your laptop generated unique authorized
number
2. contact service manager to get authentication number
3. Security Level
- LV1 : Supervisor (DSM or Doosan Service Engineer)
- LV2 : Service (Dealer or OEM service)
4. Create your ID (Alphabet + Digit) then PW will be issued by Service
manager
- Security Level :
- ID : One Alphabet + Digit (more than 4 till 10)
- PW : 6 Digit

2 kinds of Level served according to service

- Level 1 : Development (Supervisor)
- Level 2 : OEM (Dealer Service)
** Authentication number generated by KEY GEN
** KEY GEN only for authorized person
PW issued by service manager from KEY GEN
※ If you lost password, contact the program
manager and get a new password and user ID.
1. Go to SETTING and set communication timing as below

- Click blank box for selecting Manual or Auto Start
- Manual Start
. Data can be saved up until unlimited time
. Click Manual Start icon.
. Manual Stop’ icon activating so that you can control
the saving time.
. File format : *.jsd extension.
- Auto Start
. Click Auto Start icon.
. The system will wait until the engine generates a
fault and then start to save the fault data.
. Save the fault data automatically for unlimited time
before and after the fault.

seems that
- yellow line of service data before validation
Start Engine and monitoring the value then come

- Parking Brake : Parking
Test Method
- Click Graph button
- Click Start button
- Throttle position move to 90%
- After 2 seconds later, position drop to 10% and hold
2 seconds before back to 90% then repeated practice
made like upper graph.

Test Condition
- Engine : Stop
- Ignition Key : Key On
- Parking Brake : Parking
- Fuel Temp : 10 ~ 75ºC
Test Method
- Click Graph button
- Click Start button
- IMV Valve amp increasing 100mA to 500mA then
back to 100mA during 14 seconds and same practice
made once again.

Part Replacement (C3I Injector Coding) Indication
Click C3I Injector Coding Apply button
Displaying current injectors C3I codes which stored
in ECU during engine trial testing.
Verifying real injector C3I code number and G2
SCAN each injector code number before coding.
- If you change one injector only, please modifying one
injector C3I code at right injector number then click
Write button
1. Purpose
- G2 Injector has there own identification code which known as C3I.
- C3I coding aim at to fit proper fuel quantity in between each injector.

Re-Programming(ECU Map) Indication
(1) Check the ECU SW Version
(2) Click File Selection
- Level 1 : Can load any kinds of map
- Level 2 : Limited permission of map re-programming
G2 Scan evaluating current ECU map version
- Pick up *.ulp map which same Engine and PS with
previous map.
(3) Click START
After completing, G2 SCAN should be restart after
15 second later

Doosan flashed ULP which contained default Cetane
number(USA type) in Doosan EOL.
User can change Cetane number for Europe type
using Variant Coding function of Service Tool.
In Service Tool, All Service Tool user can change
Cetane type and identify latest Writer as login ID of
Variant coding
