Fyodor Terentyev decided to earn the right to participate in the Winter Olympics in 1964. In 1962, he became the champion of the USSR in the 50 km race, in 1963 in Army competition at Leningrad won in the 30 km race. Fyodor Terentyev tragically died Jan. 20, 1963
