Household electric appliances pertaining to the Home Appliance Recycling Act(refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, air conditioners, TVs, and clothes dryers)are not acceptable , as a rule. Please request disposal by a retail shop or mass merchandiser. For sharp items, such as hypodermic needles used in home medical care, request disposal by a medical institution.
