Fuzion Design is a multi-disciplinary creative studio, specialising

in brand identity, strategic thinking, graphic design & advertising.

Our approach to design is straightforward: we take our creativity, skills and individuality along with the objectives set by our clients, and turn them into a commercial success for our clients, large and small, in a no-nonsense manner.

Each project is seen as a chance to create something uniquely designed on a bespoke level for every client, with engaging results for our them and their businesses. This is not about “pretty pictures”, fashionable fonts and colours. It is about creating something unique for our clients, helping them to be instantly recognisable standing out in a world of noise, so that they gain a better position in a crowded marketplace.

It’s vital that each organisation, service or product is showcased in the best possible manner so that their clients have a better understanding and accurate impression of the businesses who are engaging with them.

The love of great design is what brought our award winning team into this industry. We create branding that works across traditional and online platforms, that works on stationery and websites, on letterheads and social media, on promotional literature and adverts, on vehicles and exhibition stands. We innovate, generating a buzz and energy around our clients and their offerings and this is what keeps us continually challenging ourselves to create better design every day and from this, creating great solutions for our clients.

Our experienced team have designed work for national supermarkets (including signage, POS, advertising, direct marketing, above & below the line communications), promotional materials for mega-yachts and financial institutions, designed packaging for the food & drinks industries, medicines and consumer goods, websites, email campaigns and online advertising (web banners etc.), exhibition stands, promotional materials, property brochures and worked on publishing projects (book covers, typesetting and layouts).

We, in the design team, work in tandem with the PR and social media teams in Fuzion ensuring we get the most effective integrated results for our clients.

The Cork Region Brand Marketing project was an initiative established by Cork City and County Councils to give an effective master brand plan to Cork and the Cork region.

Fuzion took part in the background research, workshops, collation and the design of this information, published in late 2014.

McAfee

McAfee had three different versions of this document that all existed in parallel with each other, before we were asked to assist them.

None of the three existing versions made much sense, and none of which bore any resemblance to the other versions. Our task was to take this incredibly complicated path and to make it a clear and concise journey for users & participants in their tasks.

Fuzion Design Portfolio

Page 10: Fuzion Creative Presentation 2016

Following the first version of the “Translation Services” map, we were asked by McAfee to create a second infographic for the “Engineering Services” in a similar manner, again making another deep, complicated process more transparent and accessible for everyone.

Intel

Following the amalgamation of McAfee and Intel, Fuzion has been asked to create a sub-brand for the Security Globalization department based in Cork.

This branding is being launched internally on Intel’s intranet as a series of animated header slides, using the metaphor of the train maps already created for the McAfee Translation Factory, and will be seen by over 107,000 staff members globally.

Scotch Hall

Fuzion has been worked with Scotch Hall on its customer facing communications to create dynamic and exciting print materials for occasions such as Halloween and Christmas and for initiatives such as their summer promotion and their Scotch Hall Scoundrel competitions.

These were rolled out over a number of different formats in print, both internally and externally, and over both print media and online.

BioMarin

BioMarin is based in one of the old Pfizer plants in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.

Fuzion has been asked to create a wide range of signage and internal brand touch points, helping to create brand awareness both for the staff and visitors to the plant.

When we looked at the development, we looked to convert the confidence that it would bring into a tangiable marketing piece for the development, and through to Cork.

From looking at the site - based on the maritime and commercial trading history of the city, its history and surroundings, the area began to show its merits as a graphic device and the concept for the branding & marketing began.

Page 20: Fuzion Creative Presentation 2016

The proposed marketing suite was designed to reflect both the optimism of the project, and that of Cork City, while tying in with the architecture of the building and design of the brochure.

Nova Broadband came to us early in 2013 with a simple PR ask, but on examining what they are all about and how they do what they do, we suggested that they were not what we refer to as “PR ready”.

Page 22: Fuzion Creative Presentation 2016

Over the next few months we took them on a journey that has included a full rebranding, and a complete overhaul of their website, giving them the power of looking like the player in the broadband industry that they really are.

Johnson & Perrott

Johnson & Perrott approached us to rebrand their operations; the fleet leasing and the motor retailing outlets, as they felt that the branding at the time was dated and tired.

So we created a brand marque that was both modern and dynamic, but deeply rooted in the rich heritage of not only J&P, but reflective of the entire motor industry.

Collateral items included master branding, signage, websites, vehicle livery, tax & insurance holders, all stationery and printed material, social media, keyrings, carpets, advertising & comms collateral.

The Sanctuary opened in Tralee and Fuzion created all of their branding collateral for this true oasis of calm and rejuvenation, from business cards, to brochures & price lists to signage.

We were tasked with taking The Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick from a retailer-focused digital site to a consumer-focused one, with the emphasis on user friendliness and interaction.

The aim of this was to make the site a central point of contact between the centre and its users, while building both the desktop and the fully responsive mobile version of the website at the same time.

The Capitol

John Cleary Developments (JCD) has started the long awaited re-development of the disused cinema into a class leading selection of retail and office space.

We initially created a temporary banner that hung over the site, and have since been asked to create the hoarding that will surround over 60 meters of construction site, leading shoppers to Cork’s famous English Market along a “corridor” of infamous foodstuffs such as tripe, drisheen, and the well known Cork staple - sushi.

(Work in progress)

Manor WestShoppingCentre

Manor West Shopping Centre, just outside Tralee approached us to assist with some PR, but following a detailed consultation with us they realised that they needed much more than just PR.

We completed their rebranding, creating a vibrant and exciting image for a vibrant and exciting destination, helping to increase footfall and overall business in a very difficult time for traders.

Collateral items include the complete rebranding of the shopping centre, internal and external signage, hanging banners, lift shafts, info desks, Facebook & Twitter, website, and all printed materials.

Aquatech

Aquatech is a leading supplier of heating, solar and plumbing products to the trade.

Fuzion has worked with them for a number of years on promotional, print & retail items.

Kinsale BayFood Company

Kinsale Bay Foods is the now independent artisan food producing company, that came from the Blue Haven Group.

As part of its independence, Fuzion designed both the identity, and the entire packaging range of more than a dozen items.

The full range includes pies, soups and pâtés that sit in clusters and on their own in stores nationwide.

Fuzion also redesigned the website to reflect the new, fresh nature of the products and the company.

(There were two phases to the project, the “Blue Haven” phase followed by the “Kinsale Bay Food Co.” phase designed to lead consumers on a journey but not confuse them on the transition from one brand name to another).

Promotional items included pull up stands, personalised refrigeration units & tasting stands used in stores.

RoundTableRoundTable

RoundTable is a mediation service aimed at professionals.

Due to the nature of what they do they are restricted in how much they can advertise and what they can say.

As well as RoundTable’s printed materials, Fuzion designed and built their website where the majority of their custom comes from.

rezoomo

Rezoomo is the result of a lot of hard work by a small number of individuals based in Cork, but with a sharp focus on total domination.

We helped them to look the part, so that when their recruitment business takes off they will have a brand that will stand to them, one that will hopefully become as recognisable as some of the other agencies in their market.

The FarmGrenagh

The Farm in Grenagh is a wonderful tourist spot in North Cork, with a wide range of activities for kids and adults to get their hands mucky!

We designed a range of items for their Christmas campaign that reflected their old style traditions and values using a craft based solution, rolled out over Facebook, their own website and on print materials.
