Senior Appointments

Our approach is based on understanding our client’s business goals and objectives and how candidates will be expected to contribute towards them. Our initial discussion is highly consultative; we cover at length your specific requirements and how the appointee will contribute to your success, what skills experience and cultural fit are essential.

Based on your detailed brief we then recommend the most appropriate candidate resourcing strategy, as well as timescales and clearly identify any organisation that would be “off limits” when name gathering.

Where appropriate, we discuss the merits of advertising the vacancy, recommend media and write appealing copy to attract the right target audience. All copy is subject to approval and can either incorporate a client’s branding or be completely neutral for those assignments where complete discretion is required.

Fusion People fees for senior appointments are payable only upon successful placement of a candidate.

Alternative SolutionsCampaign ManagementClients can contract out complete campaigns to Fusion People, be it a new specific project or an existing one that is proving difficult to recruit for. In close partnership we design, manage and run an entire campaign or project on your behalf.

PayrollOur in-house payroll and expenses solution gives clients the flexibility to outsource the payroll of freelance or temporary staff that have approached them directly.

Salary SurveysThis information helps the HR team to build up an “As Is” picture of regional market pay rates for predefined key roles and the competitive realities they are facing.

Compliance As part of the Employment Agencies Act 2004 we adhere to the regulations by obtaining the following information for all candidates:

- Valid Passport and/or Visa (proof of eligibility to work in the UK)- Registration Document- Confirmation of Qualifications and/or Professional Memberships- Two Professional References (character references requested where applicable)- Contract for Services (signed by the candidate to confirm they are happy for us to represent them)

Internal audits are carried out every month by the Compliance & Legal Department to ensure files are fully compliant and information is valid. Financial penalties are awarded to consultants that are not 100% compliant.

Resource EfficiencyFusion People aim to minimise resource use without compromising business efficiency and are particularly concerned about the resources that are used in regular core business such as paper, packaging and energy.

Managing MaterialsOut of all the materials consumed by Fusion People in daily operations, paper is the material used the most. With this in mind Fusion People have implemented various initiatives to ensure a low adverse impact:

- We minimise the use of paper by promoting electronic communication where suitable.- We re-cycle paper where appropriate.- We re-cycle used paper, confidential waste, packaging and magazines/newspapers through an independent recycling scheme.

Where appropriate we use recycled materials such as paper and packaging. In addition all employees are actively encouraged to recycle other materials such as glass and aluminium through local authority recycling schemes. In addition all printer and toner consumables are recycled.
