TrendsThe world around us brings inspiration every day to create our own colour trends. Trends do not have a clear beginning or end, rather they have a wavering movement. Perfect coatings for indoor useageThe ideal solution for indoor applications. Alesta® EP is an epoxy polyester system designed for the furniture and lighting industries. The EP range offers very good corrosion protection and mechanical properties, but has limited UV-resistance and is not recommended for exterior applications.

First choice for architects A range of exterior durable polyester powder coatings featuring high quality pigments. Alesta® AP complies with Qualicoat Class 1, GSB Standard specifications, AAMA 2603 and is supported by a warranty of up to 15 years*.

Premium exterior durabilityThe optimum choice for furniture and lighting exposed to high UV environments. Recommended for garden furniture, street furniture, community furniture, exterior lighting and applications requiring a specific guarantee.

Alesta® SD is based on a super durable polyester resin technology offering premium exterior durability, meeting Qualicoat Class 2, GSB Master and AAMA 2604. SD is supported by a warranty of up to 25 years*.

Powdercoatings for your needs

Zinc-free corrosion protectionCorrosion leads to high repair and maintenance costs. Corrosion protection can be significantly enhanced by the use of an appropriate pretreatment and primer system. Unlike zinc containing primers, the Zero Zinc range are suitable for protecting all metallic substrates.Two coat powder coating processes are becoming increasingly demanded for optimum corrosion resistance.

• Alesta® Alu QualiPrime, a range of primers specially designed to provide enhanced corrosion protection of aluminium substrates. Qualicoat certified.

• Alesta® ZeroZinc, a range of primers specially designed for steel, zinc metal spray and galvanised steel substrates. Qualisteelcoat certified.

“Steel Prime“ is specifically formulated to protect ferrous metals from corrosion. “Edge Prime“ has been especially developed for the coating of more difficult steel fabrications – the viscosity profile during cure enables outstanding protection of sharp edges. The two “Antigassing Prime” formulations offer solutions for substrates such as galvanized steel and thermal sprayed zinc which are prone to outgassing during cure.

Get the feelingAlesta® SoftTouch provides your products with a luxurious and delicate feeling , a unique velvety experience. Soft Touch is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Alesta® SoftTouch is available as a clearcoat and also in a range of bright colours.

Formulated to improve mar resistanceAlesta® AP MarResistant Powder Coatings are especially formulated to improve the damage and scratch resistance of smooth, dark, high gloss finishes. The significantly improved surface hardness of these formulations markedly improves the lifetime of the coated item. Alesta® MarResistant shows up to 200% improvement in scratch resistance compared to liquid coatings.

Heat resistant coatingsAlesta® HR is a range of heat-resistant powder coatings specifically developed to protect surfaces exposed to temperatures of up to 550 °C., offers a good gloss and colour stability after exposure to high temperatures and does not crack or delaminate. The range offers a higher hardness than liquid coatings and may be applied in thin films (30 to 50 microns).

Black as cool as whiteEvery colour reflects radiation differently. Alesta® Cool powder coatings offer improved reflection of infrared radiation, helping to keep the coated surface cooler. Alesta® Cool can reduce the surface temperature by up to 20%.

Graffiti protectionBy using Alesta® AntiGraffiti powder coatings, the effects of spray-painting vandalism can be eliminated. Alesta® AntiGraffiti is easy to clean and protects against the permanent effects of spray paints and marker pens. It has excellent chemical resistance, very good weathering properties and outstanding film hardness.
