General inFormationFor many families a funeral has become a celebration of life where they choose to bring music, photographs and memorabilia to add personal meaning to the funeral service. The Memories & Tributes range helps families explore ways to create lasting memories, honour the life of the deceased and to allow friends and relatives to pay tribute.

This booklet has been provided by your Funeral Planner to assist you in choosing from the many funeral personalisation options offered by Memories & Tributes. Each of these options has been designed to create a strong visual presence that expresses the deceased’s unique qualities, interests, hobbies, favourite things and places. memories & triButes oPtions:

These personalisation options provide special moments of reflection within the funeral ceremony. Afterwards, they also provide family and mourners with an appropriate keepsake that celebrates the life of the deceased. If you would like to discuss any of the options presented in this booklet in greater detail, please call (03) 9354 4178 and speak with one of our Memories & Tributes designers or contact your Funeral Planner. suPPlYinG PhotoGraPhY & musiCPhotographs can be provided to us as hard copy originals, as electronic image files (JPEG, PNG or TIFF) on disc, USB stick or via email. Scanned photographs should be in JPEG format at 300dpi to ensure the best quality reproduction. The file names of electronic image files should reflect the image order on the layout – e.g. Photo1.jpg, Photo2.jpg, Photo3.jpg etc.

Print ItemsOnce your order form, text and photographs have been received, one of our Memories & Tributes designers will develop your printed funeral stationery and email a proof for approval prior to print. Please note that the composition of some photographs may need to be left to the discretion of our design team. For example, a horizontal photograph may need to be cropped to fit a vertical design element. Once we have your approval, your Memories & Tributes item(s) will be produced and delivered to the funeral venue.

Celebrated Moments Audio Visual Presentation (DVD)Select 30 photographs and one piece of music (approximately 3-5 minutes) to be incorporated into your Celebrated Moments Audio Visual Presentation. Your music can be supplied to us on a disc or as an MP3 file on a USB stick.To assist you, information about popular musical choices for funerals can be found on the Tobin Brothers Funerals website: www.tobinbrothers.com.au.

At the conclusion of the funeral, your original photographs, disc or USB stick will be returned to you.

Re-orderingShould you wish to order additional copies of any of the above mentioned products after the funeral service has occurred, please contact your Funeral Planner.

Una sera un uomo ha avuto un sogno.Ha sognato che camminava lungo

la spiaggia con Dio. Come su un grandeschermo, nel cielo vide scene della sua vita. Durante molte di queste, lui aveva notato due serie di orme di piedi sulla sabbia. Una apparteneva a lui e l’altra

a Dio.

Dopo l’ultima scena, guardó indietroalle orme sulla sabbia. Aveva notato

che tante volte, durante la suavita, c’era soltanto una serie di orme.E aveva anche notato che questo era successo nei momenti piú malinconici

e tristi .

Questo fatto lo irrito’ molto, e interrogó Dio: “Dio, una volta mi avevi dettoche quando avrei deciso di seguirti,

tu mi avresti camminato vicino per tutto il percorso. Ma ho notato che durante i tempi piú tristi della mia vita, c’era

soltanto una serie di orme sulla sabbia. Non capisco perché, quando io avevo piú

bisogno di te, tu m’abbandonavi”.

Dio gli rispose: “Mio figlio prezioso, io ti amo e non ti abbandonerei mai.

Durante i momenti di sofferenza, quandohai visto soltanto una serie di orme sulla

sabbia, era perché io ti portavo sulle spalle”.

FOOTPRINTS

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach

with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he

noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other

to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the

footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there

was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest

and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. “Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,

you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of

footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.”

The Lord replied, “My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never

leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of

footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

time FramesArranging a funeral service requires many tasks to be accomplished in just a few days. One of those tasks is to supply any photographs, music or text needed for any of the items you have ordered from Memories & Tributes.

Delivering your materials to Tobin Brothers at the time and place negotiated with your Funeral Planner will assist us to prepare your printed funeral stationery or Celebrated Moment Audio Visual Presentation in time for the funeral service.

With this in mind, we have prepared the following average time frame information:

daY 1 Meet with your Funeral Planner. After meeting gather any needed photographs, music or text.daY 2 Deliver photos, text or music to Tobin Brothers as arranged with your Funeral Planner.daY 3 Memories & Tributes prepare and email a proof (print material only) for your approval.daY 4 Funeral personalisation items delivered to the funeral service. Please Note:The above timeframe is for a funeral arranged under average circumstances. The aim is to deliver your photographs, text and music to Tobin Brothers at the time and place negotiated with your Funeral Planner.
