fundraiser Opening Day FUND RAISING RALLY What? Shelby Youth Ball is launching a new online charity auction organized to coincide with MLB’s opening day. The auction will run for two weeks, from Thursday, March 28 to Thursday, April 11 Why? Many fundraising efforts have a lot of overhead and expenses that eat into profits. Reselling donated products and services in a professional online auction format will simply raise more money. 90% of the funds raised will go directly to Shelby Youth Baseball. 10% of each sale pays web site and credit card processing fees. Money will help teams purchase equipment, pay for facility maintenance, uniforms and tournament fees. How can you help or get your team involved? 1) Donate or solicit donations that can be sold in the auction. We are looking for quality products and services that interest a wide variety of people.
