The Sports Lounge or Bistro Private Dining areas are available for casual intimate events.

Open every day for lunch between 11:30am & 2:30pm and dinner from 5:30pm. The Sports Lounge orBistro Private Dining are at the heart of the hotel, boasting delicious food beautifully presented at verymodest prices. Our head chef prides himself on delicious contemporary meals without forgettingtraditional ‘pub classics’.

You could choose à la carte or experience a selection of Chef’s signature dishes including mixedentrées, and/or three course tasting menu. It is ideal for intimate functions or corporate gatherings ofup to 25 people and includes full à la carte waiter service.

It is extremely popular for all types of cocktail parties including 21st birthdays, anniversaries, engagements& other intimate events.

These Terms & Conditions contain the whole contract between Kevak Hotels Pty Ltd trading as the OlympicHotel (hereafter Olympic) and the client. No variation to these terms and conditions shall be binding unlessagreed to in writing and signed by both the client and the Olympic.

BookingsA deposit bond of $400.00 is required for all functions ($1400 is payable for weddings and all Decemberfunctions). This must be paid within seven days of a tentative booking being made and a booking is onlydeemed confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. The Olympic reserves the right to cancel any booking wherethe appropriate deposit is not paid within this period.

ConfirmationFinal details inc. menu options, guest no.s and the balance of payment is required no later than 14 days priorto the function. Failure to comply with this requirement may give rise to the cancellation of this agreementand the function.

CancellationWhere a booking is cancelled and the deposit-bond forfeited, unless re-booked no later than 14 days priorto the function). Where cancellation has been made between 7-14 days prior to the function, the client shallalso upon the written demand of the Olympic, pay 50% of the amount payable for the function. Wherethe cancellation is made within seven days the amount so payable is 80%.

PaymentDue to the fees associated with credit cards, a 3% surcharge applies to all AMEX and Diners Club transactions.All Functions - Balance of payment can be made by cash, cheque, Credit Card or EFT 14 days prior to the function.Bar Tabs - payment is agreed upon at the commencement of the function and must be paid in full on completionof the function.Deposit Bond - a deposit bond of $400 is required for all functions held at the Olympic and will be returnedto the client within one week, only if the room and property of the Olympic remains in an unchangedcondition deemed by the Olympic.

Room HireRoom hire fees are: ‘31 Below’ - $300; Bronze & Silver - $300; Gold Room - $500

Security GuardsThe Olympic requires the presence of a security guard, paid for by the client, at all functions with 100 guestsor more and two guards will be required for more than 150 guests. All 21st Birthdays require 1 guard for up to100 guests and 1 extra guard for every 50 guests more. A fee of $250 is charged for this service per guard.The Olympic reserves the right to request extra guards at it’s discretion.

Operating HoursFunctions operate on a maximum duration of 5 hours where last drinks will be called at 12:30am and all guestsmust leave the premises no later than 1:00am.

PricesAll prices are current at the time a booking is made and are subject to occasional increases that will apply toyour function. Prices charged to Bar Tabs will be those current to the venue at the time of the function. Allprices are inclusive of the goods and services tax however functions held on a public holiday incur a 20%surcharge on all items excluding beverages.

Minimum SpendsThe relevant minimum spend, depending on the type of function and room it is held in, needs to be metthrough the addition of the food selected, bar tab and other extras (excluding deposit-bond). If the minimumamount is not met the balance needs to be paid at the conclusion of the function. The overall minimumspend for a function is $3000.

LiabilityThe client is financially responsible for any loss or damage to any property owned or in the care and custody ofthe Olympic caused by the client or other person attending the function. If the cost of any loss or damageexceeds the bond amount, the client will be charged.

Liquor LicenseThe Olympic complies with the practices set out in the ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ issued by theLiquor Licensing Authorities. Any minor under the age of eighteen years must be accompanied by an adultor legal guardian; photo identification will ask to be sited. Only alcohol purchased from the function bar maybe consumed and such alcohol may not be taken from the function room. The Olympic reserves the right tocheck bags for any alcohol brought into the venue. The Olympic also reserves the right, without liability,to refuse the supply of alcoholic beverages to any person attending the funciton and intoxicated personsmay be ejected from the hotel at the discretion of management also without liability. Management reservesthe right to close the functions at any time due to inappropriate and/or violent behaviour of one or morepatrons.

Food RegulationsNo food or beverage of any kind (with the exception of birthday and wedding cakes) will be permitted tobe brought into the venue without the prior consent of the Olympic.

SecurityThe Olympic reserves the right to exclude or eject any or all persons attending the function without liability.The Olympic may request a guest list and utilise wristbands to control entry of guests.

SmokingIn accordance with Government Regulations, smoking is banned from all areas within the hotel, except forthe designated outdoor smoking lounges.
