In 1878, two brothers, Edward & Nicholas Fitzgerald moved to Queensland, to establish a brewery. Their humble efforts produced a company that went from strength to strength, and helped to see Australians through 2 world wars, 2 inner city floods and even a beer famine!

Throughout the years, XXXX has cemented itself as a Queensland icon, and we at the brewery are proud to present our rich history, our generous food offerings, and of course, our famous range of beers.

The XXXX Alehouse Bar & Restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner 6 days per week. It’s the perfect place to catch up with mates, have a beer before the game, or just kick back and relax.

The XXXX merchandise store located within the Bar, lets you pick up a memento of your visit, or a gift for the beer lover back home.

Want to learn about beer? Our 90 minute Brewery Tour offers a chance to learn the history of XXXX, and the brewing process from ingredients to packaging, and also includes a beer tasting session and merchandise voucher for every adult ticket.

FUNCTION BOOKINGS

Smaller groups will enjoy our main dining area in a shared use environment, ordering from our a la carte menu made from locally-sourced fresh ingredients.

Larger groups have the option of reserving a dedicated space in the Restaurant or Balcony, taking advantage of our Cocktail or Plated Function packages.

Spend $1500 or more on food for your event, and receive a 25% discount on any tours you may wish to package in!

Our signature brewery tour takes approximately 90 minutes to complete, but can be shortened to fit your requirements.

CINEMA HIRE

We even have a 50 seat cinema onsite - perfect for that important presentation, or a cheeky movie night with the mates! We’ll even throw in the popcorn for groups of 30 or more.

GROUP TASTING SESSIONS

Experience a guided tasting session of the finest beers in Queensland!

UNDER-AGE GUESTS All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their legal parent/guardian throughout the entire duration of any function.

SECURITY To ensure everybody is enjoying their time at the XXXX Brewery, and that Responsible Service of Alcohol laws are being met, security must be present at all functions with 100+ guests as well as 18th and 21st birthday celebrations. The XXXX Team will organise Security on your behalf. We require: • 1 security guard for every 50 guests • A minimum of 4 hours per security guard at a cost of $50p/hour, per security guard

FOR 18TH & 21ST BIRTHDAYS A $500 Bond will be required on the day of your function and will be returned on conclusion of the event provided there has been no damage to the venue..
