Guide to showing formula in Spreadsheets
Showing Formulae - Excel 2007 In an exam you need to be able to show the formulae you have used.
You'll almost always be asked for two printouts of a spreadsheet - one with the data values (the normal print) and one with the formulae.
The key thing to know is that the person marking your work needs to be able to see every word of the formulae - but they can live without seeing all the words and numbers. So this sort of print will be fine.
On the Formulas tab just click the Show Formulas button. You might need to make some columns a bit wider.
Tips: 1. To go back to a regular
view just click the same Show Formulas button again
2. Landscape format is often a good idea for formula views
3. If you resize columns to show the formulas properly then you'll probably need to resize them again when you go back to regular view.
