The Archer Hotel - an icon in the heart of North Adelaide.

Retaining the charm and character of its previous inhibitors,(a Lutheran church, library, offices, bank and even a radio station,) The Archer has kept its heritage intact.

The Archer is one venue with so much to offer. With over 10 beers on tap, a well-rounded wine selection, upstairs cocktail bar and the only balcony in North Adelaide, this historic hotel covers plenty of bases. At its core the Archer Hotel offers everything you’d expect from your local pub, a comfortable front bar, atrium eating area, spacious beer garden and many flexible function spaces.

With exposed brickwork from the demolition on show, the deconstructed features showing the many different characters of the building with a funky and eclectic mix of old and newcoming together.

CONFIRMATION Confirmation of a function must be made within 7 days of the original reservation. A deposit payment and signed copy of these terms and conditions are required to secure a tentative booking. Failure to provide these within the time frame stipulated will result in the cancellation of your booking.

To ensure our maximum efficiency, the guaranteed number of guests is required 7 days prior to the event. This will be regarded as the minimum number for the catering and charging.

PAYMENTWe require full payment by the completion of your function unless organised with management prior. Please note there is a 3% surcharge if paying with American Express. Company cheques need to be organised with management prior to the function.

EQUIPMENT / ENTERTAINMENTPlease be aware that the Saracens Hotel is bound by legal restrictions on noise levels. Therefore we must be informed upon confirmation of booking of any equipment, music or other entertainment you may wish to have in your room.

MINIMUM SPENDSThe minimum spend can be negotiated depending on the day of the week and the time of year that the event is to be held. Therefore a change of date may incur additional costs. The quote given encompasses a minimum expenditure, spread over food and beverage that will cover the hotel for loss of revenue, due to closure of a specified area on a particular evening. It is not a fully inclusive quote and additional charges may apply. Due to responsible service of alcohol requirements there must be food available during all functions.

ALL BOOKINGS ARE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HERE.

PRICE ADJUSTMENTSThe cost of goods will remain the same as at the time of confirmation for a function, however all prices quoted on menus / wines lists leading up to your functions are based on current trading prices and are estimates only. These may be subject to change at the discretion of management.

COMPLIANCEThe function organisers will conduct the occasion in accordance to Saracens Hotel policy and all other laws. Management reserves the right to exclude or eject any objectionable person/s without liability.

MINORS & RESPONSIBLE SERVICEIn accordance with Liquor Licensing Laws we are unable to serve intoxicated patrons or minors. It is the organiser’s duty to ensure Management of the hotel is aware of the presence of any minors attending a function. A parent or adult guardian must accompany minors. Minors are not permitted in the hotel after midnight. HOTEL RULES & CONDITIONSInappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. If any of your guests are intoxicated, causes damage to the hotel or cause discomfort to other patrons or staff, management reserves the right to ask them to leave.
