Fun Photography Trick: When taking food pictures in your kitchen, turn off all the lights and just use the soft glow from a window. It’s natural light and will make your colors pop. Then use the visor from your car to reflect the light on the back side, opposite the window. This will give studio quality lighting to your treats. FYI - Good light is more important than a great camera. Fun Test: We took the same shot of this white cake with all the kitchen lights ‘on’ and no reflector. (bottom pic) See what happens on white, even on a professional camera? When we enlarge the sections of white cake, the colors are shocking! Have fun!
