The International Collegiate

Sales Competition (ICSC)

The International Collegiate Sales Competition is scheduled for November 7th – 9th at The Rosen Cen-tre Hotel in Orlando, FL. This event will be limited to 60 universities, 120 student competitors. The com-petition will take place completely in one centralized location which will include all guest rooms, the com-petition, job- fair, and the awards ceremony. There will also be a major event at a one of the many Or-lando attractions.

Events start on Thursday with registration and a wel-come session. The role-play competition will begin on Friday morning with Friday afternoon reserved for a special event at the job fair. The remainder of the agenda will be finalized shortly as we take ad-

vantage of the many possible activities in Orlando.

The 2013 ICSC had over 100 students and 50 facul-ty from 39 universities. Funding for the event was provided by The Tom James Company as Product Sponsor and supported by 25 additional national companies. It was obvious from some of the lo-gistic issues that ICSC had outgrown facilities at FSU and that is what has prompted the move to Or-lando.

To make ICSC 2014 a world-class event we need every sponsor’s help by committing at least 3 sales executives to participate in the entire event. Fur-ther, insure that each company representative is knowledgeable of the judging process and those that agree to be buyers, are fully prepared including basic knowledge of the role-play part they are play-ing.
