Frunzik,Mher Mkrtchyan was born on July 4 in 1930 in the Armenian city Lenninakan,in the family of refugees Turkish massacres. The parents named him Frunzik due of Soviet General Mikhall Frunze.The actor had two names and even said to have two passports.One in the name of Frunze, the ofher in the name of Mher, which translated from Armenian means “the sun,the light”.

Frunzik-Mher eventually lost both the passports and lived without them just didn’t need a passport. Everybody knew him by sight.Since his childhood Mher didn’t dream of any ofher profession except acting.However, his strict father was against his plans. While his parents worked in the textile mill, Frunzik hung curtains on the stairs and arranged solo performances for the children.

He was born in Gyumri. 2006 December 22 openninghis house-museum.

His cinema career began in 1955.

The last days of life Mher Mkrtchyan spent in loneliness.He was alone and in deep grief ruins of his native town, loss of his daughter, illness of his son, the grave social situation in the country. At the end of his life he refused all roles and was

consumal by alchol. He died in 1993 in Yerevan.
