Dear Visitor,
Brazil is a country of superlatives. Its 8,514,876 km² is home to almost 208 million entrepreneurs who wake up every day willing to produce more and better products. Its biomes are widely diverse, ranging from the world’s largest tropical rainforest in the North to a vast savanna in the Middle West and an astonishing green plain in the South. Beyond the varied biome, Brazil refl ects its fruitful and sustainable agriculture in high quality products in order to meet billions of demanding consumers’ needs. Every day, millions of tons of those products leave Brazilian ports to reach more than 150 destinations.
As a result of leaps in tropical agricultural technology and hard work by its entrepreneurs, Brazil has become a strategic global supplier, providing high quality and safe products for both domestic and international markets. Nowadays, the country is the world’s top producer of sugar, coffee and orange juice and has also reached the leadership in exports of soybeans, chicken meat and wood pulp. The list of exported products is diverse and includes also beef, pork, corn, fruit and so forth.
Here, at Fruit Attraction 2018, Brazil will showcase Açaí, Apple, Avocado, Banana, Juice fruit, Lime, Mango, Melon, Papaya, Propolis, Sweet Pepper and Tomato. The continuous investment in science and technology has allowed Brazil to maximize its agricultural output using only 27.7% of its available land. In the last decades, Brazil’s productivity has increased at around 400% whilst its land use has increased only 33%. Brazil is paving the way not only to meet the strictest standards when it comes to food quality, but also guaranteeing food security for future generations. In short: Brazil is truly committed to keep delivering high quality and sustainable products to you and the world!
