Split tone Spit –squeal = high register squeal with a little spit in the sound, producing a hissing, balloon-like effect !

PERCUSSION NOTATION PLECTRA: timbale sticks, brushes/rakes, Superball mallet

!!!Run one hand from rim to center of drum while other hand plays on rim (‘tak’), producing a pitch glissando
