Slide 2 FROM THE SOUTH By Austin Arnold Slide 3 I am form the crowded streets, From the large house with many memories, And the multiple cars parked around, In the same place since two thousand one. Slide 4 With dirt in my face and mud on my legs, from the seat on a lawn mower to a comfy couch, on a hot sunny Saturday sitting in the sun, working from dusk till dawn. Slide 5 Down south where the peaches grow sweet, To the edge of the water on a Florida coast, Visiting the one I rarely see, And visiting the ones I seem to meet too often. Slide 6 Down deep I miss the ones that subjugated out of my life, The old man with a gold cane and blood for survival, To the old lady with a heart that shines similar to the sun, From the two who were meant to be. Slide 7 Down to the ones who are the say of me, To the one I will always see, And to the ones who I can dream of seeing, From fishing line to the old cars of years passing. Slide 8 Down south where I was born, To the school where it all began, From the three years that went to fast, Now to the school where I'm like an alien, To where I am now in a perfect place with my family.
